Chicago-based GoHealth to assume lease in University City location

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — ��������, a portfolio of digital businesses, announced plans to move its North Charlotte sales operations to its headquarters in Indian Land, SC, just south of Charlotte. Chicago-based insurance marketplace, GoHealth, will be assuming the lease of the 100,000 square foot office space and cafe located on 10101 Claude Freeman Drive, with partial occupancy beginning in July.

�������� currently employs 260 sales professionals in the North Charlotte office, all of whom will be offered sales positions 30 miles south at its headquarters, a 630,000 square foot Silicon Valley style campus the company has invested heavily in since 2009.

The decision for �������� to consolidate its Charlotte sales teams is in step with a larger strategic shift for the company, who has been quietly expanding its portfolio through the acquisition of proprietary brands including Bankrate, AllConnect.com and Reviews.com over the last three years. While telesales is projected to remain an important component of �������� home services group, the company is expanding quickly into new industries and models that rely on entirely digital customer transactions.

GoHealth, a leading high-growth, technology-driven health insurance marketplace with U.S. headquarters in Chicago, plans to expand rapidly at its new location. Since arriving in Charlotte in 2016, GoHealth has created over 400 full-time jobs, with plans to create an additional 400+ more over the next 2 years. The company will fill 300+ additional sales positions by mid-October.
